Folken Lacour de Fanel: Episode 25 Spoilers
The wings of Draconians acts as a barometer of their lifespans. As a result, their wings turn black when their remaining life is short. Draconians are known for their longevity normally. However, Folken's wings turns deep black (as first seen in Episode 22) while he is so young because Dornkirk's experiments inflicted a great toll on his body.
